Credentialing Coordinator

In this critical role, we will rely on you to complete credentialing applications and state license applications for upcoming jobs and for physicians’ review. We will also rely on you to research and gather physician information prior to completing applications in order to assist our physicians and medical staff.

Other responsibilities include:
• Enter physician’s information into appropriate databases
• Extract data from database to assist with application assistance to physician/CRNA
• Concentrated review of returned applications
• Send requests to each affiliation (peer reference, hospital, education/training and malpractice insurance) for them to provide verifications of the physician’s attendance/association along with strong follow up.
• Communicate intensely with physician/CRNA and medical staff offices (applying for privileges as well as receiving verifications) following up on outstanding information
• Communicate constantly with state licensing board while tracking progress of application completion
• Meet daily and weekly deadlines and increase to 12-17 new applications packets each month
• Attend weekly meetings and provides status of each physician’s/CRNA’s progress

Our ideal candidate will possess high volume data entry experience and will type at least 40 wpm.
• Previous credentialing and background check experience are strongly preferred
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage a full desk
• Legible handwriting
• Able to meet date sensitive deadlines
