SES Area Manager
Achievement Matters is seeking seasonal Area Managers with a start date of Late Spring or Early Summer 2012 to oversee the recruitment of students, and to assist with district processes and procedures. The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of Community Outreach Assistants. He/She will make sure that the team is delivering consistent messages and brand representation while meeting organizational goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding full compliance of requirements set forth by Achievement Matters in accordance with the State’s Education Department.

Achievement Matters is a one-on-one tutoring company serving students in multiple states, working through the NCLB/SES program. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for communicating with management, school personnel, parents, and district representatives when needed to assist the company with reaching their tutoring goals and making sure that the students are reaching their academic goals. The candidate will be overseeing several regions within the state and will be working from home.
Rules & Responsibilities:
- Recruiting students in various regions.
-Motivate and train Community Outreach Assistants on how to succeed in meeting their recruitment goals.
-Coordinate activity routes and schedules of multiple teams.
-Attend fairs and help assemble and hire a recruiting/marketing team
-Required travel within district territories.
-Monitor and evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.
-Work with in-house HR Department as necessary to recruit additional Community Outreach Assistants.
-Increase enrollment ratios to maximize market share.
-Assist with setting up students for tutoring in various districts
-Assist SES Manager in Corporate as needed
-Willing and able to travel within various territories/districts
-Represent Achievement Matters in an ethical and professional manner.
-Minimum High School Diploma or AA Degree.
-2+ years of Supervisory Experience.
-Prior experience working with an SES Provider
-Customer sales and marketing experience.
-Prior experience in Community Outreach Activities Preferred.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
-Available on Weekends and able to work flexible times and schedules.
-Highly motivated professional with strong marketing and sales skills.
-Must have reliable transportation and consistent internet access
-Strong Communication and Coaching skills.
-Strong ties to the community including local Community Based Organizations
-Experience working in diverse urban communities.
-Clean record with no criminal history and credible standing in the community

Compensation: Salary plus bonus
