As an independent broker with Embarkers, candidate will:
Prospect businesses to offer assistance with customizing their group benefits package.
Consult with decision-makers to ascertain their benefits needs and design an appropriate package.
Make connections and follow ups via in-person contacts, telephonic and electronic formats including social media platforms.
Report weekly sales data as it correlates to personal and team goals.
Maintain existing accounts to ensure continued levels of exemplary customer service.
The qualified applicant:
will possess a proven sales background
will be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats
will be self-directed
Must be a licensed insurance agent in the state of Louisiana or be eligible to attain licensure within 3 months of hire. (Required)
Must have a valid Driver's license and reliable transportation as local travel is a major component of the sales position. (Required)
Must own a laptop for processing electronic applications. Software will be provided.
Must own a cellular device
