The role is based initially remotely due to Covid-19; however, it will be based in the beautiful office accommodations in Cuyahoga Heights, OH when restrictions are lifted. Office Hours are 8-5. This role is positioned as an inside sales role with pre-sourced B2B leads initially, however, there is a ton of growth opportunity internally. Customers include churches, dioceses, non-profits, including community centers.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Advertising Sales Director - East & Inside Advertising Sales Director, this role will be equipped with the tools necessary and the support needed to succeed.

 

The organization offers continuous training and learning (they utilize the CHALLENGER sale model). Growth exists within the entire organization at all levels.

 

Overall, the Account Sales Executive will be expected to demonstrate strong autonomy in completing the tasks and overall duties of the role. S/he will have an opportunity to interact with and grow with a peer group locally. This is supported even during these times of being based remote.

Essential Responsibilities:

As an Account Sales Executive responsible for national B2B Ad sales, you are responsible for driving new revenue growth by selling new digital and print advertising.

S/he will:

·         ; Be trained in the Challenger Sales Model.

·         ; Generates new sales leads from a variety of sources using multiple methods. (Leads provided & New sales are defined as a non-active advertiser / advertisement on any print or digital product for at least 13 subsequent calendar months.)

·         ; Produces a high volume (80-100/day) of outbound sales calls to local and regional businesses to cultivate new ad sales for assigned accounts.

·         ; Qualifies sales leads to determine the potential to become a prospect both before and during the actual sales call. Performs necessary and required follow-up to close the sale by creating a sense of urgency.

·         ; Establishes rapport and presents advertising solutions to close sales to local and regional businesses.

·         ; Tracks sales activity, within Excel Spreadsheet and CRM (Salesforce) for each targeted lead, prospect and follow up call.

·         ; Manages sales pipeline by creating urgency to win new business and hit assignment goals.

·         ; Organizes and manage time effectively to achieve daily and weekly sales goals.

·         ; Submits accurate and timely sales orders to ensure the ad is accurately produced.

·         ; Collects customer payments and submits for processing.

·         ; Maintains awareness of all advertising sales promotions and deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:

·         ; Direct sales, high volume outbound calling, or inside B2B sales experience preferred

·         ; Strong Computer Skills & Experience using Excel, CRM Sales Genie, Google Maps preferred

·         ; Proven ability to be proactive

·         ; Strong time management and organizational skills necessary

·         ; Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills, especially in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

·         ; Strong sales skills applicable to short cycle and one-call close environment including prospecting and qualifying leads, needs assessment, sales presentation, handling objections, and closing sales

·         ; Ability to navigate organization hierarchies to get to decision maker

Educational Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree not needed but ideal
  • Equivalent professional work experience with High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
