Bilingual Pharmacy Technician (part-time)
The primary role of the Pharmacy Technician in Tucson is to liaise and deliver medications sent from the Tucson Home Pharmacy to locations where the pharmaceutical dispensing kiosk is located throughout the Tucson area. The Pharma Tech will be an ambassador for the kiosks to drive adoption and usage of them, as they're new to many people. In addition, the technician may be asked to deliver medications to patients at their home. This person must have excellent communication skills with patients, colleagues and health care professionals and use audio/video technology when needed.
We also someone fluent in English & Spanish as well, flexible with hours - this is a 24/7 operation. The Pharmacy Technician must be proficient, professional, and patient-focused in answering calls and questions from patients, as well as processing prescriptions using Enterprise Rx and other applicable software applications when volumes dictate additional script processing needs at the APM Home Pharmacy.
NOTE: This is a part-time role, 20-30 hours/week.
What you will be doing:
Supports remote dispensing locations with courier and medication stocking duties
Follows up with Home Pharmacy and patients to confirm prescription delivery
Collects expired medication and sensitive patient information to send back to Home Pharmacy in Phoenix
Generates reports as requested
Performs demonstrations for patients and visitors
Enters patient prescription information into pharmacy management system
Documents Patient/Demo/Test dispense technology and software issues
Provides information to patients, staff, and health care providers on how remote dispensing technology works
Occasionally processes new and refill prescriptions using pharmacy and operating software Interacts with patients and occasionally uses audio/video technology
Things you need to have:
Certified Pharmacy Technician in Arizona
2+ years experience in community pharmacy
Multi-lingual (Spanish and English) written and verbal proficiency is required
Demonstrate excellent proficiency in pharmacy management software
Ability to work individually under minimal supervision and within a team environment.
Car for picking up and delivery of prescriptions to kiosk location
Valid Drivers license with good driving record (will be reimbursed for mileage for any required driving)

Pick-up and Delivery of Medication totes from courier
Delivery of medications to patient home
Loading medications into the kiosk
