Title: MRI Tech PRNJob ID: KV67490581Location: Brownsville, TXWe have an opportunity for an MRI Tech- PRN to work with leaders in the healthcare industry that specialize in a variety of high quality inpatient and outpatient services.You can play a key part in their continued success as you join this institution; while you enjoy a team that puts the care and improvement of human life above all else, gives room for growth to its employees and provides them with competitive pay and benefits.Responsibilities:The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:Knowledge in MRI screening and safety, biomedical implantsCompetency in date acquisition and processingAppropriate equipment disinfection between patientsProper procedure for contrast injectionKnowledge of patient assessment, monitoring and management, vital signs, physical signs and symptoms, sedated patients, and claustrophobic patientsKnowledge of emergency response, reactions to contrast, and cardiac/respiratory arrestCompetency for pulse sequences, spin echo, conventional spin echo, fast spin echo (FSE) STIR, FLAIR, Gradient recall echo (GRE), echo planar imaging (EPI)Competency in data manipulation, k-space mapping and filling, fourier transformation 3-D post processing, maximum intensity projection (MIP), cardiac analysisCompetency in diffusion, perfusion, spectroscopy, and MRI imagingUse of universal precautions and other precautions as appropriate.Qualifications:Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology and/or completed and passed an approved course in MRI technology2+ Radiological Technology experience is required ARRT(R)(MRI) registry is preferredFor information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit us at www.teemagroup.com
