Project Manager/Analyst - Planning & Controls


Title: Project Manager/Analyst – Planning & ControlsJobID: KM834394416Location: Burnaby, BCOverview: Our client in the healthcare sector has initiated a project in support of desktop Win 7 upgrade to various platforms including Win 10, workspace virtualization, SAAS, etc. They will be completing this upgrade in close partnership and collaboration with clinical and business stakeholders ensuring a strong focus on a positive user experience and optimized technical implementation. This is a complex upgrade and transition requiring deliberate planning, engagement, and implementation. They require the services of a Project Manager/Analyst – Planning & Controls who will responsible for supporting the Program Director and Senior Project Manager and providing deliverables such as monthly status reports/dashboards; creating an updated project plan with oversight from the Senior PM-Project Delivery; incident documentation; RAID Log; hiring and onboarding documentation; presentations for governance; and other reports, project artifacts, briefing notes, recruitment documentation, etc. as required. Things you need to have:Strategic awareness/thinking and strong detail orientation with the ability to smoothly transition between states as required (e.g. meeting facilitation).Prior experience with IT/infrastructure and/or clinical/healthcare projects.Strong business acumen with the ability to effectively monitor and support project plans and complete deliverables with stringent timelines.Transformational awareness and expertise.Ability to extract information and knowledge from complex sources.Ability to collaborate with multiple clinical and business stakeholders.Strong business analysis skills and experience in business/clinical processes development.Excellent proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).Process-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.Relationship building at all levels (i.e. end-users to C-level).Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; senior-level ability to translate and express clinical, process and technical problems using business terms, as well as ability to describe business outcome and benefits in layperson terms.Senior-level documentation and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively facilitate discussions with a diverse group of stakeholders, users, etc.Strong team leadership skills that motivate and encourage collaboration.Understanding of how to interpret customer business and clinical needs. What you will be doing: Attending meetings, engaging PMs/Leads, and conducting various reviews and analyses to develop:an understanding of the overall project plan and objectivesa detailed understanding of the project milestones and dependenciesa detailed understanding of stakeholders and their rolesa detailed understanding of project and/or organizational processesan intermediate level understanding of foundational technologies (e.g. VDI, GPOs, etc.)any other relevant drivers and constraintsFacilitating integrated project planning working sessions and documenting outcomesCollating work stream project plans into an integrated project planManaging changes and additions to the integrated project plan and project charter (as required)Participating in incident management meetings and documents outcomesOverseeing the project recruitment/resource management activities such as consultant statements of work, onboarding/off-boarding procedures, etc.Monitoring project milestones and reporting on progress each week including any variances relative to baselineActing as an internal quality control check for the project.Preparing monthly status dashboards and other reports as directed by the Program Director and/or Senior PM, Project DeliveryLeading weekly RAID meetings; working with Project Admin Coordinator to document and follows up on outcomesInitiating change requests as required For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at www.teemagroup.com
