Title: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER Mountain & NW USA
Reports To: Vice President of Sales

Position Summary: Build upon existing relationships and create new relationships for all Forney equipment and services within the sales territory. Work to reach/exceed annual sales plan for the territory.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Call on prospective customers to establish a working relationship and knowledge of company products and services.
2. Maintain contact with current customers to ensure satisfaction and potential new business.
3. Keep up to date and informed on all products and services of interest to current and potential customers.
4. Monitors competitive activity and informs management on a continuing basis.
5. Works closely with proposals and other departments to ensure effective coordination of activities for a timely accurate response.
6. May direct the activities of local representatives as it relates to company products and business objectives.
7. Complies with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company.
8. Acts as advisor in strategic and tactical management planning.
Freedom to Act:
*Work is performed independently within broad practices and procedures covered by functional precedents and policies.
*Mechanical Engineering experience a plus.
*5 years sales experience.
*Ability to handle complex projects and tasks independently within established standards.
*Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and persuade at all levels of customer and Forney
*Extensive knowledge and use of departmental and Company policies, procedures, standards, and rules; ability to
interpret policies and practices in unusual situations and make recommendations for change.
*Thorough knowledge of Power Utility burners and controls.
*Extensive travel, exposure to varying environments and cultures at the job site, changing deadlines, strict time
