The successful candidate will possess the following:Minimum of Associate Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) in Accounting or Finance, Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products, especially Excel. Pivot table proficiency needed. Previous accounting, finance or banking experience required. Highly analytical with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities. Clear and professional written and communicationIn addition, you should be able to question and analyze data in addition to streamlining tasks and present ideas for efficienciesResponsibilities:Retrieve daily Bank Account statements, daily credit card daily statements, and Cash/Check Deposit data.Analyze and annotate the daily bank statement credits and debits.Run internal payment reports and track payments received by type (credit card, cash, check) – analyze to confirm data makes sense based on historical information.Key each bank statement’s credits and debits into the internal reconciliation spreadsheet for all payment types.
