Job Title: Senior Project ManagerJob ID: MK225803119Overview:Our Client is seeking a full-time contract for the role of a Senior Project Manager to join an enterprise and complex technical environment. The IT Project Manager manages all aspects of one or more small projects concurrently from initiation through closure. Project Manager is a critical leadership role that is responsible for project delivery, ensuring consistent, repeatable business outcomes and a positive client experience. Things you need to have:Experience with process quality methodologyExperience with two or more core infrastructure technologies (compute, network, database, etc.) Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication. Project management experience in North American environments Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization.Demonstrated ability to excel in a North American matrix organization.Strong leadership skills Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent10+ years IT experience including project management or equivalent.What you will be doing:Ensuring the effective delivery of project within approved scope, schedule and budget while ensuring client satisfaction.Ensuring compliance with all governance, processes, standards and methodologies.Creating accurate and regular PMO project status reports.Managing project financials using approved Enbridge processes.Managing project resources (including internal employees and external contractors).Ensuring quality requirements are met.Ensuring regular time tracking.Ensuring effective, consistent and accurate project communications to all interested parties.Managing business relationships by maintaining visible and effective client communication.Monitoring, facilitating and escalating of issues.Demonstrate strong project management leadership.Demonstrate the ability to lead technical projects and project teams.Demonstrate commitment to the team and its success.Provide estimates on budget proposals and recommend subsequent changes where necessary.Communicate project management standards and techniques as appropriate for training of internal staff.Negotiates for appropriate project resources and manages resources consistent with the overall resource plan.Familiarity with common project delivery methodologies.Develop, sell and implement comprehensive project plans, encompassing project team structure and resource assignment, implementation, testing and training plans, creation of a control plan identifying both business process metrics and IT platform quality requirements and ensuring successful transition to support and maintenance teams.Owns all project risk; including time, budget, and scope, and the associated plans to contain and/or mitigate risk.Identifies critical path decisions, makes recommendations and influences program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback.Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, as-requested by customer.For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at www.teemagroup.com
